LocalAssistant

Functionality:

LocalAssistant is an assistance mod specifically made for KSP to help you in-game. It:

• runs a specific list of local language models (AI that can run locally on your machine without internet and limits) with KSP info.
• contains every single data about your KSP directory, but CANNOT modify them, so you can ask it anything if there are issues/needed stuff.

You can ask it anything related to the game and it will assist you.

LLMs:

• Qwen 2.5 3B
• Gemma 4 E4B
• Qwen 3.5 9B
• Gemma 4 12B QAT
• Gemma 4 31B QAT

Each one needs to be downloaded to load and chat with. You may download any of them via the in-game GUI.

NOTE: If windows firewall asks for "llamaserver.exe" to run, you should allow it to.

GUI:

• You can access previously saved conversations with your local language model.
• You can select any of your downloaded LLMs to chat with.
• You can rename and delete previously saved conversations.
• You can resize the GUI through the bottom right corner.

Download:

Download the zip file and extract it. Move LocalAssistant in Gamedata/ to your KSP's gamedata directory, then move LocalAssistant_Server to your main KSP folder (that includes KSP_x64.exe, KSP_x64_Data, etc), NOT in the gamedata folder.
