ParasiticDraw

Its goal is simple: keep ElectricCharge relevant after solar panels and batteries become abundant. The mod is intentionally lightweight: it increases power demand on the vessel you are currently flying, without changing generators or other power-production behavior.

The draw scales with vessel characteristics such as part count, mass, crew capacity, crew aboard, and command modules. If you only want larger craft affected, raise the minimum part-count setting.

Dynamic Battery Storage

ParasiticDraw works without Dynamic Battery Storage.

If Dynamic Battery Storage and Module Manager are installed, ParasiticDraw adds a Parasitic Draw consumer category so the added drain appears in DBS power monitoring.

Dynamic Battery Storage is recommended for power-flow monitoring, but it is not required for the ElectricCharge drain itself.

Current Limitations

• Only the active, loaded vessel is affected
• Unloaded vessels and background catch-up drain are not simulated yet
• ParasiticDraw does not alter solar panels, generators, batteries, or other power-production behavior
• High non-physics time warp is not catch-up simulated in this release
